GAD1 gene polymorphisms are associated with hyperactivity in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Genetic variations in the GAD1 gene are linked to Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) susceptibility. Specific GAD1 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and haplotypes are associated with increased hyperactive/impulsive symptoms in ADHD patients.
