Summary

Stereoscopic displays can alter vergence accommodation, specifically the convergence-accommodation to convergence (CA/C) ratio. This study found that the CA/C ratio adapts to stereoscopic viewing, though not fully compensating for the visual demand.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the adaptability of vergence accommodation in response to stereoscopic viewing.
  • To quantify changes in the convergence-accommodation to convergence (CA/C) ratio after exposure to a stereoscopic display.
