Structural and morphologic differences in human oocytes after in vitro maturation compared with standard in vitro

Oocyte size and texture vary between in vitro maturation (IVM) and traditional in vitro fertilization (IVF) in early developmental stages. These differences in oocytes and zygotes were observed in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) but not at later stages.
