This study introduces CRISPRdigger, an accurate tool for identifying Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPRs) in prokaryotic genomes. CRISPRdigger improves upon existing methods by recovering more Direct Repeats for better CRISPR annotation accuracy.
