Probiotics and refractory chronic spontaneous urticaria

A combination of two probiotics, Lactobacillus salivarius LS01 and Bifidobacterium breve BR03, showed potential benefits for some patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) refractory to antihistamines. The treatment may improve urticaria symptoms and quality of life in a subset of patients.
