FOXE1 Polymorphism Interacts with Dietary Iodine Intake in Differentiated Thyroid Cancer Risk in the Cuban Population

Dietary iodine intake showed no direct link to differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) risk in Cuba. However, higher fish consumption was linked to reduced DTC risk, while a specific genetic factor (SNP rs965513) increased risk in low-iodine consumers.
