Enhanced Rho-kinase activity: Pathophysiological relevance in type 2 diabetes

Rho-associated kinase (ROCK) activity is elevated in type 2 diabetes patients. This increased ROCK activity correlates with higher HbA1c levels, suggesting it may indicate disease progression.
