Abstract:
Simultaneous avulsion of the insertion of the flexor digitorum profundus tendon and a displaced intra-articular fracture of the distal phalanx occurred in a 45-year-old man. Review of the literature reveals that this is a rare injury. A case report is presented, along with a review of the literature.
