Summary

Background:

Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (RTS) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by distinctive facial features, intellectual disability, and broad thumbs/toes.
Patients with RTS often exhibit significant dental anomalies, including malocclusion and micrognathia, complicating routine dental care.
The behavioral and cognitive challenges associated with RTS necessitate specialized approaches for medical and dental interventions.
