Morphologic and Functional Heart Abnormalities Associated to High Modified Tei Index in Hypertensive Patients

Left ventricular dysfunction is common in hypertensive patients, even without left ventricular hypertrophy. The modified Tei index effectively detects these abnormalities in patients with preserved ejection fraction.
