Summary

Type B insulin resistance syndrome, a rare autoimmune condition, can cause severe hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia. Combination immunotherapy with rituximab and dexamethasone effectively treated a patient with severe diabetic ketoacidosis, leading to remission.
