Rate-dependent ST segment depression--a case report.

    Summary

    This study found that rapid heart rate (sinus tachycardia) can cause significant ST segment depression on an electrocardiogram (ECG) in some patients. The ST depression resolved when heart rate was lowered, suggesting sympathetic hyperactivity as the cause.

    Background:
