  • Findings suggest that neuroanatomic alterations in PTSD are not uniform and depend on trauma specifics.
  • The study supports a stratified approach to diagnosis and treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) patients based on trauma type and associated neurobiological changes.
