Neuropathy due to entrapment of the long thoracic nerve. A case report

Abstract:
The author describes a case of severe paresis of the serratus anterior in a young volleyball player due to entrapment of the long thoracic nerve. This etiology is very rare, but if diagnosed and treated in the early stage, the lesion is reversible. The patient was completely cured 6 months later after the suspension of sports activity.
