Association between abnormal default mode network activity and suicidality in depressed adolescents

Suicidal behavior in depressed adolescents is linked to abnormal default mode network (DMN) activity. Specific connectivity changes in the posterior cingulate cortex/precuneus and left cerebellum may predict suicide risk in this population.
