Editorial Commentary: Selection of Graft Attachment Site in Anterolateral Ligament Reconstruction
Abstract:
When considering the femoral attachment location for an anterolateral ligament reconstruction, the femoral attachment site should be positioned proximally and posteriorly to the lateral epicondyle to restore the physiologic length change of the native ligament. However, the clinical significance of the anterolateral ligament in patients having anterior cruciate ligament reconstructive surgery remains controversial.
