Summary

Cochlear implant (CI) users with impaired temporal processing, measured by gap detection thresholds (GDTs), show poorer speech perception. The clinical Randomized Gap Detection Test (RGDT) can identify these deficits, aiding rehabilitation.

Purpose of the Study:

  • A correlational study involving 12 postlingually deafened adult CI users and 10 normal-hearing (NH) adults.
