Abstract:
A mini-hollow polyhedron Mnis used as the anode material for lithium-ion batteries. Benefiting from the small interior cavity and intrinsic nanosize effect, a stable reconstructed hierarchical nanostructure is formed. It has excellent energy storage properties, exhibiting a capacity of 760 mAh g-1 at 2 A g-1 after 1000 cycles. This finding offers a new perspective for the design of electrodes with large energy storage.
