- Preliminary findings suggest that the presence and specific type of psychosis in first-episode mania may serve as phenotypic markers for distinct biological variations within bipolar disorder.
- These structural brain alterations highlight potential neurobiological distinctions between different psychotic presentations of bipolar I disorder.
