Summary

Administering intravenous glucose as a fetal stimulation test significantly increased fetal heart rate variability, movements, and accelerations. Non-reactive fetuses after the glucose test showed a high incidence of neonatal depression, highlighting the importance of glucose perinatal surveillance.
