Summary

Compulsive sexual behaviors (CSB) are linked to larger amygdala volumes and reduced functional connectivity between the amygdala and prefrontal cortex in males. These neurobiological differences may underlie motivational and emotional dysregulation in CSB.

  • To compare brain volumes and resting-state functional connectivity in males with CSB versus healthy volunteers (HV).
