Abstract:
The political model, as described by various authors, provides a powerful and effective approach to dealing with the complex issues that confront nursing. This article demonstrates that the political model may be employed as a useful method for reaching a favorable resultant action on the registered care technologist conflict issue. The problem-solving approach of the political model can be applied to individual, group or organizational conflict. The politically astute person using this model will gain insight into negotiating, policy-making and the allocation of scarce resources.
