Summary

Autologous bone marrow mononuclear cell infusions are safe and feasible for treating severe adult traumatic brain injury (TBI). This treatment demonstrated central nervous system structural preservation and reduced inflammatory biomarkers, suggesting a potential therapeutic effect for TBI patients.
