Summary

Investigating chicken broiler performance, this study found that a 6-hour photoperiod (6H) improved feed efficiency and reduced leg issues compared to a 23-hour photoperiod (23H). An increasing photoperiod (INC) also showed benefits, particularly in feed conversion and reduced mortality.
