Speed should be of the upmost importance in NMC investigations

For those found to have 'no case to answer', being named by the NMC has the potential to tip someone over the edge during what will be a challenging and emotional time. The longer the allegation is allowed to be in the public domain, the more chance there is of colleagues and the public seeing it.
