Summary

Racial differences in Bruch's membrane opening minimum rim width (BMO-MRW) were not found between people of African descent (AD) and European descent (ED) using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SDOCT). These findings suggest race-specific normative data for BMO-MRW may not be needed for AD patients.
