Abstract:
Motivated by the di-photon excess at 750 GeV reported by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, we present an F-theory inspired flipped [Formula: see text] model embedded in [Formula: see text]. The low energy spectrum includes the three MSSM chiral families, vector-like colour triplets, several pairs of charged [Formula: see text] singlet fields [Formula: see text], as well as MSSM singlets, one or more of which could contribute to the di-photon resonance. A total decay width in the multi-GeV range can arise from couplings involving the singlet and MSSM fields.
