Summary

This study investigated HIV-related lymphadenopathy, finding that follicular dendritic cells (FDC) decrease as the condition progresses. HIV gag proteins were primarily found on FDC, suggesting their role in follicular involution.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the role of follicular dendritic cells (FDC) and HIV proteins in HIV-related lymphadenopathy.
  • To correlate immunohistochemical findings with histopathological classifications.
