Summary

Therapeutic hypothermia (TH) improves heart rate variability (HRV) in infants with moderate hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). The high-frequency (HF) component of HRV increased in infants undergoing TH, indicating potential neuroprotective effects.
