Transcatheter leadless cardiac pacing: The new alternative solution

Leadless pacemakers (LPMs) show safe and stable performance in fragile patients with limited venous access or pacemaker contraindications. This technology offers a viable alternative to traditional methods in high-risk individuals.

- No direct pacemaker-related adverse events were reported, except for one case of ventricular fibrillation post-implantation.

- Leadless pacemakers demonstrated stable performance and reassuring safety in a fragile patient population.
- The Micra LPM is a suitable alternative to epicardial surgical approaches in this high-risk group.
