Summary

This case report highlights a rare instance of seminoma, a type of germ cell tumor, presenting unusually in an elderly male. It emphasizes the importance of considering germ cell tumors in the differential diagnosis of groin masses.

Seminomatous germ cell tumors (GCTs) typically affect younger men (20-40s) and present as testicular masses.
Metastases are commonly found in para-aortic lymph nodes.
