[Health as a social necessity]

The author analyzes the basic philosophical and medical category of health and different approaches to its definition. He analyzes the definition of WHO, pays attention to the historical development of the term, its subjective and social contents; in the conclusion he explains why he considers health a category which is at the same time also a social necessity. He emphasizes its class character and the necessity that society should give it a priority position.
