  • Bone imaging with Tc-99m MDP detected the metastasis.
  • Radiographic correlation included CT and MRI.

Findings:

  • Extraosseous soft tissue metastases from osteosarcoma can accumulate Tc-99m MDP.
  • Bone imaging successfully identified pulmonary metastasis.

Implications:

  • Bone imaging plays a role in detecting both osseous and extraosseous metastases.
