Abstract:
Enormous demands are placed on the creative skills of practitioners when applying the benefits of current research in wound care to clinical practice. This is in part because of the overwhelming number of products available and the lack of rigorous randomised controlled trials to facilitate decision-making, although cost-effectiveness and availability of resources also have to be considered.
