Abstract:
The Journal of Wound Care, five years after its launch, now has 7300 subscribers. A recent reader survey tells us that an average of three people read each copy - about 21 000 people every month. Back in 1992 few could have predicted this level of interest. The success of this year's Wound Care Awards, with over 50 entries from all over the world, representing many different disciplines, reveals that wound management is now firmly on the clinical agenda.
