Habitual Sleep Deprivation is Associated with Type 2 Diabetes: A Case-Control Study

Short sleep duration, defined as fewer than six hours per night, is significantly associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This finding highlights the importance of adequate sleep for metabolic health and diabetes prevention.
