Intra-articular pathologies associated with chronic ankle instability

Ankle arthroscopy effectively diagnoses and treats intra-articular lesions common in chronic ankle instability. Combining arthroscopy with ligament reconstruction addresses all internal ankle pathologies, improving outcomes.

- Anterior ankle arthroscopy is highly valuable for diagnosing and treating intra-articular lesions associated with chronic ankle instability.
- Performing arthroscopy concurrently with lateral ankle ligament reconstruction is recommended for comprehensive management.
