Polypeptides from blood platelets possess anticoagulant and antifibrinolytic actions, inhibit the aggregation capacity of blood platelets and exert a modulating effect on rosette formation of lymphocytes with sheep red blood cells. It is assumed that blood platelets may act as universal modulators of hemostatic and immune reactions.
