Apnoeic oxygenation during intubation: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Apnoeic oxygenation significantly improves oxygen saturation (SpO2) during endotracheal intubation for most patients. However, it offers no benefit for individuals with respiratory failure requiring intubation.
