    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the professional socialization of Registered Nurse/Bachelor of Nursing Science (RN/BSN) students and generic baccalaureate nursing students over five years.
    • To identify differences in nursing performance and socialization between the two groups at program exit.
    • To evaluate the impact of the nursing program on the professional development of RN/BSN students.

    • Further investigation is needed to understand the program's impact on RN/BSN student socialization and refine study methodologies.
