Monitoring of metabolic parameters for pediatric inpatients on second-generation antipsychotics (SGAs) shows improvement over outpatients, but deficiencies persist. Comprehensive metabolic parameter monitoring (MPM) was completed for only 13.2% of patients, highlighting a need for better care.
