  • Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten.
  • Refractory celiac disease (RCD) is a rare complication of CD with persistent symptoms despite a strict gluten-free diet.
  • RCD is classified into Type I and Type II, each with distinct immunological and clinical characteristics.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To identify unique cross-sectional imaging findings differentiating Type I RCD, Type II RCD, and healed CD.
  • To correlate imaging features with specific RCD subtypes and outcomes.
