Summary

A negative examination under anesthesia (EUA) accurately predicts pelvic ring stability and union without displacement after nonoperative treatment. Immediate weight-bearing is safe for patients with pelvic ring injuries who have a negative EUA, unless associated injuries dictate otherwise.
