Summary

Compound odontomas are the most common type, frequently affecting adolescents in the maxillary incisor or canine regions. Complex odontomas, while less common, occur more in molar regions and are linked to unerupted teeth.

  • Histologic criteria were used to classify 396 odontomas into compound and complex types.
  • Data on patient age, sex, location, and associated dental anomalies were analyzed.
