Amyloid-β (Aβ) oligomer strains, like LFAOs, can propagate their structure and cause specific Alzheimer disease (AD) pathologies, such as cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). Understanding this strain propagation offers new insights into AD mechanisms.
