As the name suggests, non-LTR retrotransposons lack the long terminal repeats characteristic of the LTR retrotransposons.     This case report highlights the successful surgical removal of a giant dedifferentiated liposarcoma, a rare retroperitoneal sarcoma. Prompt surgical intervention is crucial for managing these challenging tumors.
