[Characteristics of immunologic status in patients with post-vagotomy disorders]

The results of examination of 578 patients with different postvagotomy disorders are presented. The patients with complete, incomplete and inadequate vagotomy were marked out. Among the postvagotomy disorders, the functional, organic and mixed ones were distinguished. The immunologic status was assessed before and after surgical correction in 206 patients by relative and absolute number of the E-RFC, EAC-RFC, EA gamma-RFC and by the level of A, M and G immunoglobulins. It was established that different postvagotomy disorders were associated with the development of the signs of secondary immunologic deficiency. After corrective operations, no restoration of the immunologic indices studied were noted.
