[The Roux syndrome and its clinical significance]

On the basis of the analysis of the use of the Roux-en-Y jejunal interposition in surgical treatment of 147 patients with diseases of the stomach and duodenum, a conclusion is made of the expediency to distinguish the special type of functional disorders developing after the operation, which are called the Roux syndrome. Clinical manifestations and methods for the treatment of the mentioned syndrome are elucidated in detail.
