Summary

Regenerative treatment using gelatin sponge with basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) effectively closed tympanic membrane perforations (TMP) and improved hearing. The TM regeneration procedure (TMRP) showed promising safety and efficacy, warranting further large-scale trials.
