Piedra in a North Indian Woman

A 28 year old north India lady had asymptomatic irregular nodules fixed on her scalp, hair for the last 15 months.' Microscopy revealed these to be piedra thoug4 the cuftwe, was negative. There was a good response to clotrimazole lotion within the first week itself.
